Two weeks ago in English Society we studied about jazz legend, Louis Armstrong. The following week we studied about New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz and Louis Armstrong. We are continuing our studies of famous people and places with a great lesson on the Great Pyramid of Khufu at Giza.In today's class, we were able to take a video adventure of the Great Pyramid of Khufu. The children got to see the actual pyramid from the inside. Can you believe that the base of this pyramid is over 5 hectares. That is just over 31,000 tatami mats!!
