Another Nutritious Lunch

Today's lunch was filled with lots of yummy food. Once again, everybody ate everything. We are so proud of them!! The menu was 大根のうま煮、ナスビと豚肉の味噌炒め、まいたけの磯辺揚げ、おから＆白ごはん。

Birthday Fiesta!!

Today we celebrated the birthdays of four children with a fun-filled fiesta (party). The children sang songs in voices that could probably have been heard in China. They were really powerful and active. After singing songs, we gave the children their birthday cakes (banana bread with coconut sprinkles on top) that they get to take home and eat with their families. The wholesome cakes are products of Tomi's Shortbread House and are full of healthy ingredients. I highly recommend this store. It is located on Rt. 3 just north of the city. We finished up the fiesta with a fun game called, "Monkey Parts." The children had a blast.
