We are studying about winter now. We have learned about winter clothing, Christmas and other winter activities. Today's picture was a snowman. We are so proud of our students for trying their best and having fun.

Mittens

We started the first phase of our mittens craft. The children, as always, look very happy. They are small but do lovely work. Hilltop students are great!!!!

Making Christmas Trees

This week we started making many lovely Christmas decorations for the classroom. We will be posting the finished crafts next week.

Christmas Tree

Today, Panda class got to decorate the Christmas Tree after lunch. They really enjoyed doing it. We will be putting up more decorations over the next few days.

外遊び①

Two of our children (年少・年中) learned to ride a bicycle this week. They practiced hard and finally could do it by themselves. Another one of our children graduated to the big bicycle. We feel so lucky to have such a large place to play. We are looking forward to the park being developed with grass, trees, swings and other fun things next year!!

Fun Dance

Most of our dancing is done while listening to the guitar or piano but sometimes we put on a CD and act out the song. It looks like a lot of fun, doesn't it?

Elf Craft

With Christmas on its way, we made some great elves. The children are really looking forward to Santa coming this month.

Group Learning

Grizzly class learned about different types of clothing and when they are used. It was a lot of fun.

Pilgrims

Last week the children learned about Thanksgiving in the United States. They learned the story of Thanksgiving and made some very colorful pilgrims.

日本語教室

Our teacher, Ms. Funeshima, came again on Monday. She told the children some wonderful stories, talked about manners, did some fun finger plays and used a great 紙芝居. It was a wonderful class.
