Morning Exercise: Part 1

Today we went outside for song time, morning exercise and games. We practiced some marching, walking backwards, twirling, high stepping, running and other fun things. It was a super day for all of our children. Just look at their faces!!

Hula

Hula started again at Hilltop. The children were so happy to see Jo-Jo again. She is a great teacher and the children really like her.

English Speech Contest

On Sunday, Yuhei (上級English Society) participated in an English speech contest. I attended the event. He did a wonderful speech with great enthusiasm, poise and humor. I was very proud to see Yuhei on stage. It must be frightening for a child to be in front of over 150 people.(I was shocked when he did not receive a prize. Does anyone know how these contests are judged?)
